Montmartre is inspired by the 1920s in Paris, the Années Folles, a period in which artists and intellectuals converged in an exciting and irreverent city that had much to offer. A coffee society was willing to transgress into new forms of art and social behavior. Avant-garde movements and surrealism coexisted with the inherent and classic elegance of Paris.
